While checking out the local area ponds and lakes this weekend it appears that small bodies of shallow water are covered but the ice is not of diving quality.

Well we took the gear just in case we saw something interesting to dive, and actually we did see some interesting stuff but decided to get more pictures and dive another day when its calmer and maybe more people on board.
