On December 31, some time before the stroke of midnight, members of the Michigan Underwater Dive (MUD) club and friends began celebrating the changing of the year in their usual way, by entering the dark, icy water of one of Michigan’s numerous lakes.

On this very sunny & HOT day a return was warrented to dive Little Paw Paw Lake and dive the area around the point where Virginia Beach Resort & Cottages was located in 1903.

Today was sunny, hot, and muggy with the wind from the North West giving the lake a hint of white caps and deep swells against the north pier.
