Tankful Tuesday and Thirsty Thursday information:

For the Niles dives, currently the river has been high and fast. Visibility is very low.

Request for others to step up for leadership in the dives: No one volunteered for any leadership on the dives.

Diving discussions:

Kevin and Amy investigated the Burlington shipwreck in Holland. Kevin dove the area for about 15 minutes in 41 degrees. Had about 2 foot vis. They used a magnetometer and had solid hits.

Doug Hill has been traveling and diving.

John N. mentioned that he had some diving time down in Florida.

Jim spoke about Wolf’s open house. All went well for the open house. He mentioned that 7 mil suits are now hard to come by from manufacturers. It seems that they are tailoring more for warm water diving. He also mentioned that Aqua lung has dropped a lot of their lines. Prices for almost everything have risen.

Trivia Questions: For this month the trivia was to list as many shipwrecks as one can in the Straits.

Show and Tell: Nothing was brought in for April.

Our next meeting will be on May 17th at 7:30 pm. We will meet at the Southwest Michigan Regional Airport, 1123 Territorial Rd., Benton Harbor, MI. I hope to see most of you there!
